No... we're not packing everything up to move house again!

We've been waiting for this for the past few weeks as we had booked decorators for two days to just do a quick colour wash on the lounge to kind'a put our own stamp on the living room and to paint the kitchen in white as the walls in the kitchen kind'a looked like a patchwork quilt. The previous owners had obviously tried to cover over various marks but instead of matching the type of paint, someone must have just used some old white paint they had lying around.

We'll be starting the proper restoration of the house, which will be handled room by room sometime next year... for now we just want to put some of our own colours on the walls and wipe away anyone else's choices.

Originally planning to move everything into the centre of the room and just cover it over for protection we realised that there was probably just too much for the decorators to navigate, around so we decided to move as much as possible into the dining room and use this as the lounge for a few days.

The front room was always going to be the dining room but we actually think everything looked pretty good and worked just as good as a sitting room as it does as a dining room.
