Door progress as of a few nights ago. The front now has most of the paint stripped as of tonight but haven’t taken a pic. Got some sanding filling to do and the back and sides to strip.

It’s taken a long time because of the ornate beading and years upon years of paint layers. Yes, aware it may have lead as yes we’ve been careful.

Unfortunately it’s not suitable for dip and strip becuse of the organic glue holding the panels together so combination of a heat gun and peelaway has taken most of the paint off.
